SCAMS IN PRIVATE HOSPITALS IN SRI LANKA 🇱🇰!
1. At OPD doctors recommending unnecessary list of tests to patients to be done immediately
2. Scaring patients indicating serious conditions as per reports & requesting to admit to hospital immediately
3. After admission, keeping the patient for days & weeks under observation and recommending further tests
4. Scaring the patient and indicating a urgent surgery is required & needs to be done immediately and need to pay for it soon
5. Keeping the patient after surgery for days & weeks on further observation and until recovery
6. Recommending & issuing packs of medicines which are unnecessary & not required
7. Finally, issuing a bill adding up to lakhs and millions to be paid before discharging the patent.
▪️Use your common sense and get second opinions from few other doctors, before you admit or agree for a surgery.
▪️Do not allow them to cut & chop your precious body & internal organs, without proper examination, study, evidence, investigations & conclusions.
▪️Do not get caught to these scams & money hungry animals in private hospitals and lose all what you have saved.
▪️OPD doctors are given monthly targets to achieve on tests, medicines, and admissions.
Then ward doctors are given targets to achieve on further tests, medicines & surgeries.
▪️Pateints become the target & guinea pigs for their greed for money. They don't value people's lives. They just need money!
▪️When you look at doctors super luxury lifestyles, you can understand their level of greed for money and comforts. These doctors have very less concern for people & patients.
▪️Unfortunately, in Sri Lanka patients are not knowledgeable in filling legal action against medical negligence.
In other developed countries doctors & hospitals end up paying millions & billions of money back to patients, on legal actions filled for professional negligence, surgical scams & other fraudulent activities in hospitals.
