7 OF THE MOST HELPFUL POULTICES & THEIR PROPERTIES
Cabbage Poultices; draws poisons and pus
Garlic Poultice; add warm water and flour. It relieves pain.
Potato Poultices; bruises, Spasms and boils.
Comfrey; open sores, wounds or swelling.
Fig Poultices; heat fig for 5 min for open cuts and sores.
Oatmeal Poultices; Cook oatmeal and place in a soft cotton for inflammation and insect bites.
Carrot Poultices; take pulp remaining after juicing and apply on bruises, sores, chapped skin.
Tofu Poultices; add flour, ginger for inflammation and fever.
Clay Poultices; heat in the oven mix with crushed cabbage or Cayenne pepper for arthritic joints.
