Calendula is one of the less known herbs.
Calendula blooms throughout the Summer providing refuge for pollinators and a steady supply of fresh beautiful flowers.
Calendula is well known as a topical used for skin conditions such as eczema, dry skin, minor burns, scratches and bruises.
You can tincture it fresh as well as dried or add to a cleansing tea.
A mild floral lymphatic. Great for moving stagnation in body systems, combine with chickweed if you like to relieve bloating and water retention.
A cooling astringent calendula is also used for gastrointestinal issues such as GI inflammation, gastritis, colitis and Crohn’s disease.
