AN EXTENSIVE DESCRIPTION OF WOMEN ARE MARRIED BECAUSE OF HER WEALTH, LESSONS OF THE WISDOM
Rasulullah Shalallahu Alaihi Wassalam said..,
“The best of women is a woman who, when you look at her, makes you pleased with her; and when you ask her to do something, she obeys you; and when you are absent, she guards herself, and her belongings.”
The original meaning (wealth) is assets that are owned independently or assets that are inherited from the family.
The broader meaning is the ability and wisdom of a woman in managing assets, especially managing her husband's assets properly and trustfully.
Al-Mubaarakfoori said in Tuhfat al-Ahwadhi:
Al-Qaadi (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: It is the people’s custom to seek certain characteristics in women and to choose a wife for a certain quality. It befits those who are religiously-committed to base their actions on religious guidance, especially with regard to matters that are serious and have lasting effects.
Then, women are particularly weaker in some areas of capabilities as compared to men, yet, when it comes to carrying out these responsibilities, they tend to be much stronger than men. All this is an outcome of Allah’s taufeeq and help. This is the reason why women, as general rule, are less involved in sinful immodesties as compared to men.
ٱلرِّجَالُ قَوَّٰمُونَ عَلَى ٱلنِّسَآءِ بِمَا فَضَّلَ ٱللَّهُ بَعْضَهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ وَبِمَآ أَنفَقُوا۟ مِنْ أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ ۚ فَٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتُ قَٰنِتَٰتٌ حَٰفِظَٰتٌ لِّلْغَيْبِ بِمَا حَفِظَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ وَٱلَّٰتِى تَخَافُونَ نُشُوزَهُنَّ فَعِظُوهُنَّ وَٱهْجُرُوهُنَّ فِى ٱلْمَضَاجِعِ وَٱضْرِبُوهُنَّ ۖ فَإِنْ أَطَعْنَكُمْ فَلَا تَبْغُوا۟ عَلَيْهِنَّ سَبِيلًا ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيًّا كَبِيرًا
Men are the caretakers of women, as men have been provisioned by Allah over women and tasked with supporting them financially. And righteous women are devoutly obedient and, when alone, protective of what Allah has entrusted them with . And if you sense ill-conduct from your women, advise them ˹first˺, ˹if they persist,˺ do not share their beds, ˹but if they still persist,˺ then discipline them ˹gently˺. But if they change their ways, do not be unjust to them. Surely Allah is Most High, All-Great.
(Surah An Nisa:34)
Therefore a Righteous wife when they are not with them, they stand guard on their own selves, as well as on what the husband has earned for the family. It goes without saying that the protection of the personal honor and modesty of a woman, and that of everything else in the house under her charge are basic to the happiness that lies behind a successful home management.
Although the duty of a woman to guard herself and to look after the home is not restricted to a situation where the husband is not at home, but is equally applicable during his presence also..
And Use the assets as well as possible and make the wealth of her husband a way of blessing for his entire family in the World and the Hereafter
