FASTING ON THE DAY OF ARAFAH
SHARE and REMIND others to fast tomorrow. In a lot of countries tomorrow will be 9th Dhul Hijjah and the day of Arafah. It is the day before Eid al-Adha so check when it is in your country.
When the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was asked about fasting on the day of ‘Arafah he said: “It expiates for the sins of the previous year and the coming year.”
(Sahih Muslim 1162)
"The best supplication is the supplication on the Day of ‘Arafah and the best of what I and the Prophets before me have said is:
"La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la shareeka lah, lahul-mulku walahul-hamdu wahuwa ‘ala kuli shay-in qadeer."
Dua translation:
There is absolutely no god worthy of being worshipped except Allah, Alone, without any partner. To Him belongs the Kingdom, and all praise is due to Him, and He is Powerful over everything”
(Tirmidhi).
This is one of the most blessed days of the year so make sure to fast and make the most of it.
