Lifta is a depopulated Palestinian village in Jerusalem, whose population was forcibly expelled by the Zionist forces in 1948.

Save it from 6036 construction plan that threatens the village and aims to demolish it. Preserving the village structures, landscapes and environment are crucial for the future of Lifta, Jerusalem, and Palestine.

The displaced village of Lifta, has been named by the World Monuments Fund as one of 25 at-risk sites around the world.

However, the Israeli construction plan 6036 is currently being vigorously promoted by the Jerusalem Municipality and the Israel Land Authority.

The plan is intended to destroy the cultural landscape of Lifta and build a small elite-class villa neighborhood, with roads, parking structures, huge retaining walls and extensive rock-cuttings on the mountainside.

No modern construction is capable of coping with the difficult topography of the village and the need for infrastructure and roads without leaving a deep mark and injuring the mountain.

Lifta today is an important part of the open landscapes surrounding Jerusalem, and thanks to its central location at the entrance to the city,

it is a particularly accessible green lung and a magnet for diverse populations in Jerusalem and for many travelers from the occupied Palestine and around the world.

The beauty of Lifta is a hallmark and an inseparable part of the entrance to Jerusalem, the city’s scenery and its charm.

Israel still wants to destroy everything that is beautiful with brazen settlement projects that contradict international laws.

قرية لفتا المهجرة والجميلة جداً صنفها صندوق الآثار العالمي كواحدة من 25 موقعاً معرضاً للخطر حول العالم. ومع ذلك، يتم حالياً الترويج لخطة البناء الإسرائيلية 6036 بقوة من قبل بلدية الا.حتلا.ل في القدس وسلطة الأراضي الإسرائيلية. تهدف الخطة إلى تدمير قرية لفتا وبناء حي جديد لفئة "النخبة" مع طرق ومباني ومواقف للسيارات وجدران استنادية ضخمة وقطع صخرية واسعة النطاق على سفح الجبل.
