Teaching kids Arabic from a young age gives them a good foundation to learning and understanding the Quran and their religion. Many books of scholars are in Arabic and not translated, so Arabic is essential to learning more.
Learning Arabic also opens the doors of opportunity in other countries too and allows us to communicate to a big portion of the Muslim world in the middle East and North Africa. Yes dialects differ but most understand standard Arabic.
Not only in Pakistan but I think all Muslims countries should be doing this. If children are being pushed to learn Spanish, german, Mandrin, and all sorts of other languages then why not Arabic. Why not the language of the Quran.
