HARUN YAHYA, LEADER OF RELIGIOUS SEX CULT SETENCED TO 1075 YEARS IN PRISON

Anyone else remember him? Adnan Oktar, also known as Harun Yahya, has been sentenced in court in Istanbul to 1,075 years over charges of founding a criminal organisation and sexual abuse.
When I was very very young and I first started practicing, a lot of what I learnt was watching lectures on YouTube and listening to people. And there were times when I would come across this very strange "religious figure" named Harun Yahya.
Other scholar would speak about lowering your gaze, about staying away from non-mahram women, they'd speak about the hijab and women covering their bodies etc...
Then I came across this strange man who claims to be some sort of scholar, yet in his videos he is ALWAYS surrounded by what can only be described as real life blonde plastic sex dolls showing their bodies. He'd refer to them as his "kittens". It was very strange for me a young boy learning Islam wondering how a man like this who claims to be some Muslim scholar even has followers. He owned a TV channel where he'd broadcast his messages and propaganda.
I only realised now that alhamdulillah he was actually arrested in 2018 in Turkey. He was arrested following allegations of sexual abuse and kidnapping if minors.
Now he's been setenced for 1075 years over a number of charges including, founding and leading a criminal organisation, political or military espionage, aiding Fetullah Terrorist Organisation (FETO) despite not being a member, sexual abuse of minors, sexual abuse, deprivation of liberty of the person, torture, distrubance of right to education, recording personal data, and threats.
Alhamdulillah I'm glad he's been put away and that he can no longer harm nor lead people astray.
