Applications are hereby invited from qualified citizens of Sri Lanka for the vacancies mentioned below. The applicants should possess the following qualifications:

1. VIDEO EVIDENCE RECORDING OFFICER JM 1-1 - (01 Post)

QUALIFICATIONS

EXTERNAL CANDIDATES :-
(1 or 2 or 3 or 4 below)

1. A Degree in Psychology/ Sociology/ Mass Communication Criminology/ Social Sciences which is recognized by the U.G.C with one year post qualifying experience Audio/ Video in a recording studio.

2. Having obtained a certificate of proficiency not below than the National Vocational Qualification Level 7 in relavent field, issued by a Technical/ Vocational Training Institute accepted by the Tertiery and Vocational Education Commissior with one year post qualifying experience in Audio/ Video in a recording studio.

3. Having obtained a certificate of proficiency not below than the National Vocational Qualification Ievel 6 in relevant feld, issued by a technical/ vocaticnal training institute accepted by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission

AND

At least five (05) years post qualifying experience in Audio/ Video in a recording studio.

4. Having obtained a certificate of proficiency not below than the National Vocational Qualification Level 5 in relevant field, issued by a technical/ vocational training institute accepted by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission

AND

At least Ten (10) years post qualifying experience in Audio/ Video in a recording studio.

INTERNAL CANDIDATES

1. Having obtained the qualifications required by the external candidates above.

2. Completion of minimum five (05) years satisfactory service in a post of the Management Assistant -Technological (MA2) Grade II, in the subject area relevant to the post.

SALARY CODE AND THE MONTHLY SALARY SCALE OF THE EMPLOYEE CATEGORY:

DMS circular 2/2016 - JM1-1 Rs.[42,600- 10×755- 18x1,135- 70,580.00] In terms of DMS circular no 02/2016 schedule II the initial salary step of above as at 01.01.2020 is Rs.42,600.00

AGE:

Age should be not less than 22 years and not more than 45 years. The upper age limit will not apply to the internal candidates.

RECRUITMENT PROCEDURE

Recruitment will be done by the results of a written competitive examination and/ or a structured interview conducted by a panel appointed by the appointing authority.


2. ASSISTANT COUNSELLOR - MA 03 - (02 Posts)

QUALIFICAIONS

EXTERNAL CANDIDATES

A Bachelor's Degree in Psychology/ Sociology/ Health Premetion/ Education in Special Need/ Speech and Hearing Sciences/ Drama and Theatre which is recognizec by the University Grants Cemmission.

Diploma in Counseling recognized by the University Grants Commission or Tertiary Vocational Education Commission will be an added advantage.


3. INVESTIGATION ASSISTANT - MA 03 - (02 Posts)

QUALIFICATONS

EXTERNAL CANDIDATES

A Bachelor's Degree in Criminology which is recognized by the University Grants Commission.


4. CYBER WATCH ASSISTANT - MA 03 (01 Post)

QUALIFICATIONS (01 or 02 bolow)

EXTERNAL CANDIDATES

1. A Bachelor's Degree in Infomation Technology which is recognized by the University Grants Commission.

2. A Bachelor's Degree with Diploma in Informetion Technology which is rocognized by the University Grants Commisaion.

OTHER (For the above posts 02, 03, 04)

2. SALARY CODE AND THE MONTHLY SALARY SCALE OF THE EMPLOYEE CATEGORY :

DM5 circular 2/2016 -MA 3 Rs.[32,200- 10x445 - 11x650- 10x730 - 5x750 – 54,960.00] In terms of DMS circular no 02/2016 schedule II the initial salary step of above as at 01.01.2020 is Rs.32,200.00

AGE:

Age should be not less than 21 years and not more than 45 years. The upper age limit will not apply to the intenal candidates.

RECRUITMENT PROCEDURE

Recruitment will be done by the results of a writen competitive exam nation and/ or a structured interview conducted by a panel appointed by the appointing authority,


5. MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT (TECHNICAL) - MA 2-1 - (06 Posts)

QUALIFICATIONS

EXTERNAL CANDIDATES:

Having obtained a certificate of proficiency not below than the National Vocational Qualification Level 5, issued by a Tecanical Vocational Training Institute accepted by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (IT/ OFFICE MANAGEMENT)

INTERNAL CANDIDATES:

Having obtained the qualifications recuired by the external candidates above.

SALARY CODE AND THE MONTHLY SALARY SCALE OF THE EMPLOYEE CATEGORY :

DMS circular 2/2016 MA 2-1Rs.[30,310 10x300 - 7x350 - 4x495- 20x660 - 50,940] In terms of DMS circular No.2/2016 Schedule II the initial salary step of above as at 01.01.2020 is Rs. 30,310.00

AGE:

Age should be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years. The upper age limit will not apply to the internal candidates.

6. MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT (NON-TECHNOLOGICAL) MA 1-1 - (01 Post)

QUALIFICATIONS (General)

a) Having passed the G.C.E.(O/L) examination in six subjects in One sitting with credit passes for four subjects including,

i. Sinhala/ Tamil
i. English language
ii. Mathematics

b) Having passed three sabjects (other than the General paper) at the G.C.E. (A/L) examination.

INTERNAL CANDIDATES:

Employees of the categories of Primary Level skilled, Primary Level Semi skilled and Primary Level - Unskilled who possess the following qualifications are eligible to apply.

EDUCATIONAL:

Having pessed the G.C.E.(O/L) examination in six subjects with credit passes for four subjects including,

i. Siahala / Tamil
ii. English language
iii. Madlıematics

OTHER:

Having completed a minimum of five (05) years satisfactory service in a permanent post under the above employer category.


7. MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT NON-TECHNOLOGICAL (TYPE SETTING - SINHALA) MA 1-1 - (01 Post)

EXTERNAL CANDIDATES

EDUCATIONAL:

1. a) Having passed the G.C.E (O/L) examination in six subjects in one sitting with eredit passes for four subjects including

i. Sinhela
ii. English language

b) Having passed three subjects (other then the Generai Paper) at the G.C.E. (A/L) examination.

c) 06 Months Certificate course for Typesetting Computer Literacy

INTERNAL CANDIDATES

Employees of the categories of Primary Level-Skilled, Primary Level- Semi skilled and Primary Level-Unskilled who possess the following qualifications are eligible to apply.

EDUCATIONAL:

Having passed the G.C.E. (O/L) examination in six subjcets with credit passes for four subjects including

b) 06 Months Certificate course for Typesetting Computer Literacy

9. MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT - NON-TECHNOLOGICAL - (PROOF READING - SINHALA) MA 1-1 - (01 Post)

EXTERNAL CANDIDATES

EDUCATIONAL:

a) Having passed the G.C.E. (O/L} examination in six subjests in one sitting with credit passes for four subjects including

i. Sinhala
ii. English language
iii. Mathematics

b) Having passed three subjects other than the General Paper at the G.C.E. (A/L) examination.

INTERNAL CANDIDATES

Employees of the calegories of Primiary Level-Skilled, Primary Level- Semi skilled and Primary Level-Unskilled who possess the following qualifications are eligible to apply.

a) Having passed the G.CE. (O/L) examination in six subjects with credit passes for four subjects including

10. MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT NON-TECHNOLOGICAL - (PROOF READING - TAMIL) MA 1-1 - (01 Post)

1. a) Having passed the G.CE. (O/L) examination in six subjects in One sitting with crecit passes for four subjects including

i. Tarmil
ii. English language
iii. Mathematics

b) Having passed three subjects (other than the General Paper) at the G.C.E. (A/L) examination.

INTERNAL CANDIDATES

Employees of the categories of Primary Level-Skilled, Primary Level- Semi skilled and Primary 1 evel-Unskilled who possess the following qualif cations are eligible te apply.

EDUCATIONAL:

a) Having passed the G.C.E.(O/L) examination in six subjects with credit passes for four subjects including

i. Tamil
ii. English langage
iii. Mathematics

Having completed a minimum of five (05) years satisfactory service in a permanent post under the abeve emplayee category.

SALARY CODE AND THE MONTHLY SALARY SCALE OF THE EMPLOYEE CATEGORY :

DMS sirculer 2/2016 MA1-1 Rs.[27.,910 10x300- 7x350- 4x495- 20x660- 48,540.00] In terms of DMS cireular no 02/2016 schedule II the initial salary step of atove as at 01.01 2020 is Rs,27,910.00

AGE :

Age should be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years. The upper age limit will not apply to the internal candidates.

RECRUITMENT PROCEDURE

Recruitment will be done by the results of a written competitive examination and / or a structured interview conducted by a panel appointed by the appointing authority.


BENEFITS :

Apart from the basic salary, Cost of Living Allowance nill be paid to all posts mentioned above, 12% to EPF and 3% to ETF will be borne by the Authoriry.


GENERAL CONDITIONS:

Every applicant slould be a citizen of Sri Lanka and should be of excellent moral character and should be physically and mentally fit to discharge the duties of the post well and to serve in any part of the island.

Applicants who are unable to send their applications due to the curfew and/ or travel restrictions imposed in their areas during the application calling period can submit their applications within 07 days after the curfew and/ or travel restrictions being lifted.

Every application should he sent along with certified copies of Birth Certificate, NIC/Passport, educational, professional qualifications and experience certificates. Separate applications should be sent for each position if you wish to apply for more than one position. The post should be marked on the top left-hand corner of the envelope. Applicants from State sector/Corporation/ Statutory Bodies should send their applications through their Heads of the Organizations.

Incomplete, illegibie applications which are not in conformity with the above requirements and applications received after the closing date will be rejected without any notice. Any form of canvassing will be a disqualification. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews/ Written Examination. The decision of the Board of Directors of the National Child Protection Authority with regard to these recruitments shall be final.
