DO NOT BURY CORONA DEATHS - BUDDHIST MONKS PROTEST
A group of Buddhist clerics today staged a protest against the Presidential Secretariat, calling on the government to ban the burial of bodies that have died of corona infection in Sri Lanka.
The group of Buddhist clergy also handed over a letter to Health Minister Pavithra Vanniyarachchi demanding that the decision not to cremate the bodies targeted for corona infection, which is currently being followed in the country.
