DIEGA MARADONA DIED TODAY, "In My Heart, I'm Palestinian"
Considered one of the greatest footballers in the world. Diega Maradona died today at the age of 60. Since it's all over the news. I thought I'll highlight this, his vocal support of Palestine. In the world cup final in 2018 in Russia, Maradona met with the Palestinian president and said to him, "In my heart, I'm Palestinian."
In 2012 he also said, "I am the number one fan of the Palestinian people. respect them and sympathize with them." Later in 2014 during the Israel was on Gaza, Maradona said, "What Israel is doing to the Palestinian people is shameful."
I love seeing people who are in the media spotlight and vocal about such issues of injustice, recent exampl is that of Ozil speaking on China when so many are silent. Which is why I'm sharing this. And I know Maradona has millions of fans from across the world.
Side note: before I get them comments, it is not permissible to make Dua (Praying) for a person who dies upon Disblief. Leave that to Allah (God) and he will judge him upon his deeds and his actions.
